Our Mum passed her driving test having been taught by Derek from Castle Driving school back in 1978!! When she was looking for an intensive course for us immediately following our 17th birthday, with her own experience in mind and the recommendation of a friend who's son had passed following an intensive course with Castle, the choice was simple. She found the course information on the website and talking it through with Shirley was really useful. In fact Shirley was extremely helpful, flexible and available to assist both before and during the courses and in getting tests arranged for us.

For the course itself we found Phil and Paul really friendly instructors creating a relaxed environment in which to learn. Having said that, they pushed us to our full potential. Intensive learning suited us because, apart from getting it all over and done with during the school holidays, driving every day meant that we kept the momentum going and didn't need to refresh at the start of each lesson, as we might have had to had there been a gap in between.

We would certainly recommend Castle Driving School and in particular the intensive course to anyone.

Colin taught me to drive back in 2003, he was a brilliant Instructor, the very best. His patience and excellent teaching methods helped me to pass my driving test and I still use the techniques he taught me today. We became good friends whilst I was learning to drive and remained so afterwards, he is greatly missed.

I had my lessons with Eddie Francis who was not just a nice guy he was a very good teacher up to a very high standard of driving. All of his instructions were very clear, calm and he makes the manoeuvres so easy to do. I would highly recommend him to everyone as I've had him on two occasions in the past 3 years. I've enjoyed his company as he has a good sense of humour. 10/10.
