Learning to drive in a manual car had become a bit of a mental barrier for me having tried Automatic before, when I signed up for my with Nigel I didn't really believe that 5 days later I would have passed my test, Castle are a great driving school and Nigel is a fantastic instructor. He gradually drilled into me a sense of self belief and confidence that led me to pass my test at the first time. The intensive format leaves you heading to your test well drilled and feeling like you had the best possible preparation and Nigel's patience and level of knowledge ensure you have the best possible chance. I have had a wonderful driving experience with Castle, all thanks to my fantastic instructor Mick! I'm not a naturally confident person, and was quite nervous at the idea of learning to drive. However, Mick put my doubts to rest and allowed my confidence to grow. Mick has the patience of a saint, is cheerful, friendly, approachable, accommodating and always encouraged the best out of me.

Every lesson with Mick was varied from week to week, and broadened my driving experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mick or any of the instructors at Castle Driving School. Not only has Mick given me the gift of safe driving, but also I have achieved something that I never thought I could do, and have become more confident and independent in the process! 10/10!

I passed my test yesterday!!!!! I had an assessment lesson with Gary and then a 6 day intensive. I have recommended Gary to just about everyone, he was so patient, knowledgable and friendly, he made me feel completely at ease and relaxed. The service from Castle was excellent both email and telephone. Gary gave me lots of paperwork which proved invaluable, I had driven with 2 other schools before this and wish I had have found Castle 5 years earlier!!!. Thank you so much :)

I would recommend the intensive course for anyone who wishes to put behind them what might seem to be a dreadful Test. At Castle they make you relax and teach you according to your need.

I had a four day intensive course following an assessment. Phil Caney, my instructor, had to help me unlearn my bad habits and develop what is proper and right. Following strict mock tests with Phil, I sailed through the actual test without a problem. It's worth the time and money. I remain grateful to Castle. I am legal and safer on the roads.
