Before I started my lessons with Gary I had several with another instructor from a different driving school. Gary was a huge improvement and I progressed rapidly once I started with him. After failing my driving test several times, I had lost confidence in driving as there was only a few months away that my theory certificate would expire.

I was recommended by a friend to go with Phil O' keefe and I must say I learnt a lot of things that I did not learn with my previous instructor. Phil was friendly, helpful, he gave me the confidence I needed after failing several times and I passed my test with flying colours and I owe it all to you Phil (and Castle).

My driving instructor was Mick Perrin. Previously I never signed up for driving as I always thought I wouldn't be able to do it. My sister passed her test with Mick and recommended him. I decided I'd try it out. Mick is a great instructor, he was always calm, friendly and I felt like I learnt a lot from him every lesson. He really built up my confidence and even got me through the nerve wracking driving test with a cool head. He was really pleased when I passed and I was chuffed that I've done it! I would highly recommend him to the Colchester area! I hope to do my Pass Plus with him too in the future.
