Well, first of all I wasn't sure about which company to go with so I asked a former examiner for their opinion.

They said that Castle Driving School was the only company that they would recommend.

So needing no further prompting I arranged lessons with Paul.

The former examiner was right. I can honestly say that I enjoyed learning with Paul. He made the lessons fun and he treated me like a friend, not some learner kid.

I was never pressured into the exams by the company or my instructor. I was allowed to go at my own pace and when I felt comfortable I would ask him to book me a test and he would.

The preparation for the tests were excellent as well as there were mock tests. But rather than leaving me to figure out the mistakes made he would willingly discuss them and then get more practice. In my case it was the Greenstead roundabouts!!!

If I ever had any questions then all I had to do was ask and as a result I would always get an answer which helped me progress to passing.

It took me three times to pass my test but I failed mine not due to lack of training or practice. It was either bad luck on the day or silly mistakes because of nerves.

When I passed my test was the earliest time available on a Tuesday at the end of the month. So initially I thought I was going to fail...but I didn't. I put all my success down to my driving instructor.

I know it was me driving...but it was Paul who gave me the skills to pass.

If anyone is ever stuck on which company to go by, I will always recommend Castle as a clear cut above the rest just like the former examiner.

Without you it would not have been possible and if anyone has Paul as an instructor then count yourself lucky.
